About Chloe — The Recipe Developer Behind Meat and Melt

The recipe developer behind Meat & Melt

Hi, I’m Chloe — comfort food recipe developer

Tested meat recipes, real ingredients, and satisfying dinners for the everyday home cook.

Hi, I’m Chloe!

I’m the recipe developer and comfort food obsessive behind Meat and Melt. I grew up eating the kind of food that makes you close your eyes mid-bite — glossy glazes, rich sauces, cheese that pulls apart in long strings, and meat so tender it barely needs a knife.

I’ve spent years traveling across the United States, eating my way through Texas BBQ joints, Midwestern diners, taco trucks, and backyard cookouts. Every trip taught me something about how simple ingredients, handled right, produce something genuinely unforgettable. I built Meat and Melt to bring those recipes home — achievable on a Tuesday night, not just for special occasions.

Every single recipe on this site is personally tested in my kitchen before it goes live. No shortcuts, no recycled content, no recipes that only work on a good day.

How every recipe is tested

Nothing goes live on Meat and Melt until it works. Every recipe is personally tested in my own kitchen before it is published — sometimes once, often multiple times across different cooking methods and variations.

The turkey meatloaf collection went through more than ten tested versions. The birria taco recipes were tested across three different cooking methods — Crockpot, Instant Pot, and stovetop — because I wanted to give you a reliable result regardless of what equipment you have at home.

No filler. No recipes copied from other sites. No shortcuts on testing. When you cook something from Meat and Melt, it should work the first time.

  • ✔ Every recipe personally kitchen tested before publishing
  • ✔ Multiple method variations tested where relevant
  • ✔ Recipes updated when improvements or errors are found
  • ✔ Last-updated date visible on every post
  • ✔ Original photography — no stock food images
