  • 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons milk or broth
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/3 cup ketchup or BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, egg white, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Line the slow cooker with parchment paper.
  4. Place the meat mixture into the crockpot and shape into a loaf.
  5. Cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. Remove excess liquid from the crockpot carefully.
  8. In a small bowl, stir together ketchup or BBQ sauce with brown sugar.
  9. Spread the glaze over the meatloaf.
  10. Cook for another 30 minutes until the glaze is set.
  11. Let the meatloaf rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

  • Do not overmix the meat mixture.
