Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
- 3/4 cup crushed buttery crackers
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, crushed crackers, milk, onion, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place on the baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bake meatloaf for 30 minutes, then remove and drain excess liquid.
- Spread glaze evenly over the top.
- Return to oven and bake for another 30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Let rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Do not skip the first bake step as turkey releases liquid. Use regular ground turkey instead of extra lean for better moisture. Let the meatloaf rest before slicing to help it hold together. Breadcrumbs can replace crackers if needed.
