- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, milk, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Press mixture evenly into the loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
- Spread glaze evenly over the top.
- Bake for about 1 hour until center reaches 160°F.
- Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Do not overmix the meat to avoid a dense texture. Use 80/20 ground beef for best results. Let meatloaf rest before slicing so it holds together. You can substitute breadcrumbs with crushed crackers and milk with broth if needed.
