Description

Tender slow-cooked Wagyu beef brisket with rich smoky flavor and a sweet tangy sauce perfect for a comforting and easy dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3.5 to 4 pounds Wagyu beef brisket
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2.5 cups ketchup divided
  • 1 cup brown sugar divided
  • 0.75 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce divided
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Mix all dry rub ingredients in a bowl
  2. Rub brisket on all sides
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  4. Combine sauce ingredients in slow cooker
  5. Add brisket and coat with sauce
  6. Cook on high for 5 hours
  7. Remove brisket and place on baking sheet
  8. Skim fat and simmer sauce until thick
  9. Brush brisket with sauce and broil for 4 to 5 minutes
  10. Slice thinly and serve with extra sauce

Notes

Cook low and slow for best results let brisket rest before slicing slice against the grain and adjust sauce flavor to taste
