Ingredients
Scale

- 2 to 2 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar, divided
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Spray crock pot with nonstick spray and place ham cut side down inside.
- Rub 1 cup brown sugar all over the ham.
- Pour pineapple juice and maple syrup over the top, letting it run between slices.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours until heated through.
- Carefully pour cooking liquid into a saucepan.
- Add remaining 1 to 1 1/2 cups brown sugar and bring to a rolling boil.
- Pour hot glaze back over the ham.
- Cook on WARM or LOW for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Serve with extra glaze spooned over the top.
Notes
Use a large oval slow cooker for best results. Keep ham cut side down for maximum juiciness. Optional broil sliced ham for 2 to 3 minutes for extra caramelization. Leftovers store well and are perfect for sandwiches, soups, and breakfast dishes.
