Description

This pellet smoker country style ribs recipe delivers juicy, smoky, fall-apart pork with a sticky BBQ glaze. It is easy, beginner-friendly, and perfect for big BBQ flavor without complicated steps.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lbs country style pork ribs (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ dry rub
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • Apple cider vinegar (for spritzing)
  • Optional: brown sugar
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from ribs
  2. Season generously on all sides with dry rub
  3. Let rest for 30 minutes
  4. Preheat pellet smoker to 275°F
  5. Place ribs on grates spaced apart
  6. Smoke and spritz with apple cider vinegar every 45 minutes
  7. Flip ribs after about 90 minutes
  8. Cook until internal temp reaches 170 to 175°F
  9. Brush with BBQ sauce
  10. Cook another 20 to 30 minutes until caramelized
  11. Remove at 180 to 185°F and rest before serving

Notes

Skip wrapping for better bark and texture. Adjust cook time based on thickness. Spritzing helps keep ribs juicy and enhances flavor.
