  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon tomato paste
  • 3 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup ketchup


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce and chicken stock. Stir and let cool slightly.
  6. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, and onion mixture.
  7. Mix gently until just combined.
  8. Shape into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet or loaf pan.
  9. Spread ketchup evenly over the top.
  10. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  11. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatloaf tender and juicy. Let the meatloaf rest before slicing for the best texture. Leftovers make delicious sandwiches the next day.
