  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add ground turkey, onions, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Mix gently until just combined.
  6. Shape into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes.
  8. Spread glaze over the top and bake for another 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  9. Optional: Broil for 2 to 3 minutes for extra caramelization.
  10. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use 93% lean turkey for the best balance of flavor and texture. Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatloaf tender and juicy. Quick oats can replace breadcrumbs if desired.
