This easy meatloaf recipe is juicy, tender, and packed with classic flavor. Made with simple pantry ingredients, it comes together fast and delivers perfect texture every time. A comforting family dinner with delicious leftovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds ground chuck (80/20)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients except milk until combined.
  3. Add milk and mix until smooth and slightly sticky.
  4. Shape into a loaf in a baking dish.
  5. Spread ketchup on top.
  6. Bake until internal temp reaches 160°F (about 1 hour 20 minutes).
  7. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Do not overmix to keep the texture tender. Let it rest before slicing for clean cuts. Try adding grated apple for a subtle twist. Freeze leftovers for easy future meals.
