Description

This Cowboy Spaghetti with Bacon is smoky, cheesy, hearty, and packed with bold flavor. A cozy one pot comfort dinner that is easy to make and perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 8 strips bacon, chopped
  • pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain.
  3. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned.
  5. Add beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and seasonings. Stir well.
  6. Mix in cooked spaghetti.
  7. Stir in half the cheese and half the bacon.
  8. Top with remaining cheese.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly.
  10. Sprinkle remaining bacon on top before serving.

Notes

Shred your own cheese for better melting. Adjust spice level to taste. Great for meal prep and leftovers.
