Description

If your weeknights feel chaotic and you want something hearty cheesy and satisfying without juggling multiple pots this cowboy spaghetti recipe delivers smoky bacon seasoned beef bold sauce and pasta all cooked in one pan.


Ingredients

  • 6 strips bacon
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 1/2 cups beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 8 ounces spaghetti broken in half
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 can fire roasted tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp then remove and crumble
  2. In the same pan cook onion until soft then add garlic salt and pepper
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned
  4. Stir in broth Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce then add half the bacon
  5. Add broken spaghetti then pour tomatoes and sauce over top
  6. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes until pasta is tender
  7. Stir everything together top with cheese and remaining bacon
  8. Cover and let cheese melt then garnish with green onions and serve

Notes

Adjust spice level to taste Add extra cheese for a richer finish Great for leftovers and reheats well
