Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon smoked garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat pellet grill to 300°F
  2. Remove membrane from ribs and pat dry
  3. Mix marinade and coat ribs, let sit 30 minutes if using
  4. Combine dry rub ingredients
  5. Coat ribs evenly with dry rub
  6. Place ribs on grill meat side down and cook 30 minutes
  7. Flip ribs and continue cooking
  8. Cook until internal temperature reaches 190°F to 203°F
  9. Brush with barbecue sauce during final 5 minutes
  10. Remove ribs, cover with foil, and rest 30 to 60 minutes
  11. Slice and serve
