These ground lamb kebabs are juicy, fast to grill, and full of warm spices. Whether you’re hosting a party or meal prepping, this lamb meatballs twist is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

- 1 lb ground lamb
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 tbsp grated onion
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground allspice
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 28 bamboo skewers, soaked for 30 minutes
Instructions
- Mash garlic and salt into a paste.
- Mix lamb, garlic paste, onion, parsley, and spices in a bowl.
- Shape into 28 small balls and press each onto a skewer into an oval.
- Place on a tray, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes (or up to 12 hours).
- Preheat grill to medium, oil the grate, and grill skewers 5-6 minutes, turning often.
- Internal temperature should reach 145°F.
- Serve hot with your choice of sides.
Notes
To make lamb meatballs instead, roll into 1-inch balls and bake at 375°F for 18-20 minutes. Serve with yogurt sauce or over couscous.
